9 Months and Counting

Our little Mazie Daisy is now 9 months old. The time has flew by way to fast. I feel like she has grown faster that all my kids combined. She is such a wonderful blessing to our home she is so fun to have toddling about. She has the most infectious smile and laugh. Lately she will get her little feelings hurt and she has a special frown and little cry that is different from the norm that just melts my heart it is too cute, she uses it if the kids carry her out of the room when they are trying to play a board game or something on the floor when she know they are trying to get rid of her or when she gets startled. I couldn't pick my favorites so I will post them all because after all 9 months is a landmark and they are too cute enjoy.

Back To School......Finally

Well the kids are officially Back to school. The school district was on strike so our children got the privilege of having an extended summer... good and bad. It gave me extra time to get things in order, good because we got to squeeze in a little more fun. Bad because they were still home driving me crazy, bad because they have to go longer now and have a shorter summer.

So, when we got the news that school was back on Daddy gave everyone a fathers blessing. Even though this is something that happens at the beginning of each school year since preschool they really loved and connected to this very special time. Zoeie said"I feel the Holy Ghost all through my body" And when Gavien got home he said " My blessing was right I was brave and I met new friends" I think now that they are old enough to understand exactly what it is and the purpose it gave them wonderful direction.

a whole lot we are amazed at his growth!

is now my big 1st grader and has met lots of new friends

he is so excited about the new year! Good job buddy!

Zoeie is now my big 3rd grader. She has Mrs Russel.

She has met a new friend Naomi and loves to see her

cousins at school.

Sunny Seattle

Shannon paid a visit to Seattle so we decided to go to the Seattle Center and splash around with the Gustins. It was a perfect day hot but not too hot I picked up the Tuck girls and away we went me and 7 kids. on our decent into Seattle all the kids were fast asleep that was until Noelle woke up and shouted " Hey look everybody were in New York." We had such a blast we started off in the fountains then we splashed around in a little waiting pool/water fall area then we changed into are warm clothes and all got a scoop of Ice cream we all licked away in the shadow of the space needle. We strolled around for a little while then we all picked a post card to remember our special day then we headed home.
