Today Gavien got off the bus and into the car per usual. I asked him how his day was and this is what was said:
Me" How was your day buddy?"
G "It was good sept Sid and I are over"
(Sidney is a little girl in his class)
Me" What do you mean?"
G " I broke up with her"
Me with a wise thought
" Gavien what does break up mean?"
G " Ugh, Mom it's when your not boyfriend and girlfriend any more."
Me " um, er DUH..."
G " Mom, what's for lunch I had a busy day"
So we had a conversation about church standards on dating at a kindergarten level, ate peanut butter and honey with yogurt, he went on with his normal routine and I was left in my thoughts on the things they learn at school.

no wonder he's always dressed up for church -- he's ropin' in the ladies!
Oh my gosh...a heartbreaker already...good luck with that.
That is SO FUNNY, thank heavens all my boys to date are "the full on jeans and t-shirt" boys! Gavien Mr. GQ aka Mr. Ladies Man cracks me up!!!! Speaking of which we had all three conferences w/ the school teachers this morning (next year it'll be four...CRAZY!) Any who Jaroms teacher was saying how Jarom is a likeable person and how all of the kids in his class including the girls are fond of him (but he also said that he can tell how Jarom isn't "INTO" the girls the same way they are becasue when they try to flirt with him he will just ignore them.) It's prob from having two sisters close to his own age that annoy him, he's used to ignoring them!...Just tune them right out...Gavien's going to be like his dad, watch out if he's starting in kindergarten! Girlfriends are one thing but you tell Gavien that there's nothing wrong with having friends that are girls. Spencer's got a few that he plays really well with.
